Circumstances of Homicide
On August 14, 1980, Richard Swanson was found dead at a Shell Gas Station in South Lake Tahoe, CA. He was working the night shift as a lone gas station attendant at the time of his death. Observations of the crime scene revealed the victim to have been severely beaten around his face and head. The loss from the cash drawer was estimated to be $761.02. The victim’s wallet was removed from his person. The wallet contained $190.00 from his first paycheck at the Shell Gas Station.
Richard’s parents, Ronald and Sharron Swanson, are offering a REWARD for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Richard’s death.
